We invite you to celebrate life and share our love for this region as you ignite your taste buds with sustainable and authentic Australian Outback cuisine in a rustic, eclectic space, surrounded by nature’s finest!

Our lamb….

We combine traditional preparations with local ingredients for dishes that are authentic to the Native Australian cuisine.

Many of our meals feature Rawnsley Park Station Lamb and other local ingredients, minimising the carbon footprint and ensuring high quality ingredients by reducing the mileage the ingredients need to travel to get to the restaurant.

The Woolshed Restaurant was officially opened in 2000, but it’s full story started 11 years earlier.

An authentic bush dinner experience, prepared in a camp oven and wood-fired spit by owners of Rawnsley Park Station, Tony and Julie Smith, quickly became a popular experience sought after by many.
