The Woolshed Restaurant

Andrew and Liz

Dine inside an authentic Australian woolshed restaurant or on the deck overlooking Rawnsley Bluff. Fully licensed.

We would like to welcome Elizabeth and Andrew Zdravkovski to the Woolshed Restaurant.

Andrew is an experienced chef, and has just returned to Australia after working in the UK for 5 years, including at the Bread Street Kitchen with Gordon Ramsay and at Jamie’s Italian for Jamie Oliver.

Elizabeth is originally from Hungary, however, she migrated to England where she met Andrew, and due to Andrew being Australian she has now migrated to Australia.

Andrew and Elizabeth like to use as much local produce as is possible, and you will find that Andrew enjoys making his own sauces, pastries and ice cream.

The restaurant is open for dinner 7 days a week, and lunch Wednesday to Sunday.

Lamb Selection Dinners

Sheep Station life and our own prime lamb are showcased in a series of special hosted ‘Lamb Selection’ dinners at Rawnsley’s Woolshed Restaurant.

A four-course tasting menu, starring the station’s Merino X Dohne lamb, has been developed by head chef Andrew Zdravkovski.

His menu includes Lamb Loin Bresaola with Mint Pesto; Parsley and Mango Crusted Lamb Cutlet on Artichoke Puree; and Braised Leg of Lamb with Slow Cooked Red Cabbage and Mint, followed by a selection of South Australian cheese.  Each course will be matched with a glass of Southern Flinders Ranges wine.  The station manager will join guests to tell them about life on the station.

Cost: $85 per person for four courses, including a glass of matching wine and port with the cheese platter.  The next 2 dinners will be Friday 1st August  and Friday 29th August at 6.30pm.

Lamb on the Spit

We are resurrecting the popular Lamb on the Spit.  The next one will be on Saturday 13th July and then again on Saturday 23rd August.  Cost: $39 per person for 2 courses, main and dessert.
