Elizabeth and Andrew Zdravkovski have now been with us at the Woolshed Restaurant for over 12 months.
Andrew is an experienced chef, and worked in the UK for 5 years, including at the Bread Street Kitchen with Gordon Ramsay and at Jamie’s Italian for Jamie Oliver.
Elizabeth is originally from Hungary, however, she migrated to England where she met Andrew, and due to Andrew being Australian she has now migrated to Australia.
Andrew and Elizabeth like to use as much local produce as is possible, and you will find that Andrew enjoys making his own sauces, pastries and ice cream.
They also like a challenge and recently catered for 600 people at Wilpena under the Stars.
The restaurant is open for dinner 7 days a week, and lunch Wednesday to Sunday.
We will be continuing with the popular Lamb on the Spit evenings this year. May/June Dates: Saturday 16th May and Saturday 6th June Cost $39 per person $12.50 Children under 12
Our hosted Lamb Tasting dinners will also return. The first one for the year will be on: Wednesday May 6th, followed by Wednesday 13th and 27th May. These dinners are limited to 20 persons and the 4 course menu, which focuses on Rawnsley Park lamb cooked 3 different ways, includes Lamb Tartar with Pepered Toast, Crusted Lamb Cutlet with Mint Chilli Ricotta, Braised Leg of Lamb with Carrot Puree and Cabbage Rosti. This is followed by a selection of cheeses and trio of truffles. Glass of matching Bundaleer wine with each course. Cost $95 per person. Angela, winemaker at Bundaleer wines, will be joining us for the first dinner, hosted by Tony and Julie Smith.
